How does an In-app Approve-it work?
Instead of getting your OTP as a notification on your cellphone screen, we’ll now send you an Approve-it message from the Money app.
To approve or decline transactions, simply log on with your app PIN, Face ID, fingerprint or Nedbank ID.
This will give you extra protection from criminals who might try to access your money, or use your ID to register a cellphone number so they can approve fraudulent transactions.
Setting up your In-app Approve-it
To set up or manage your In-app Approve-it messages, you'll need to have the latest version of the Money app:
- Log on to the Money app.
- Tap More.
- Select Login and Security.
- Select Devices, then choose a device.
- Select Link or Unlink device.
- Follow the easy screen prompts... and you're done!
