To open an NREB account, you must provide the following documents:
- The minimum opening deposit.
- A certified copy of your passport, stamped by the your overseas bank.
- Three months' bank statements.
- Proof of income.
All documents must be notarised as required by the South African Reserve Bank (embassy or legal practitioner if abroad and attorney if in South Africa).
You will be required to email the documents to your NREB banker and courier the original copies.
